My name is Tiziano Brodolini, I am a photographer, Italian, born in Civitavecchia in 1972, and living in Rome.
My passion for photography started and developed with macrophotograpy which I photograph in the Italian National Parks. In 2007
I was a finalist in a National Geographic competition. My photograph was shown in the gallery of the White Star bookshop in Milan and was commended by the jury as one of the best photos in the macro category.
In order to become an accomplished professional, I studied the Scuola Romana di Fotografia. This course led to me becoming interested in portraiture and journalistic photography.
I began to work with the photographic agency “Blow Up”, mostly on political and social news. I followed the major political and social events both in Italy and throughout the world. I also collaborate with two British agencies: “Barcoftmedia” and “Demotix”.
In 2012 I took a course at the Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrato which covered areas of social studies and which led to a number of projects. One of these was to document monotheistic religions, which particular interest me.
My most significant assignment to date was one that I undertook in 2011 in Mumbai. I went to the Darawi slum there to document the lives of the people who live there. Photos from this project where exhibited in the “Piccola Casa della Cultura” in Tarquinia by the La Lestra Cultural Association.
I offer my services as photographer to the charity “Semi di Pace” based in Tarquinia (Viterbo).
I am available to undertake photographic work of the nature outlined above anywhere in the world.
